Does anyone else love this book by Madeleine L'Engle?

8. Yes, I read the sequels

I've read the sequels. A Wrinkle In Time is my favourite, though. It's a series where I love all the characters. I loved the Mrs Ws in Wrinkle and Meg and Calvin and Charles, and I was fond of Sandy and Dennys too.

10. i loved this book when i was younger

in 4th grade the running joke between me and a friend of mine was that a line is not the shortest way to get somewhere, you need to TESSER!!!!!

11. It was my favorite book when I was a child.

It got replaced by Enders Game, then Wuthering Heights and then later The Hunchback of Notre Dame for my favorite book every written.

Still, that book was my favorite for over a decade.

I'm glad she was there for me and so many other generations of kids.

I had dinner with Madeleine once about 20 years ago -- I was just a college kid. She was very encouraging to me about my own writing. I'll never forget that.

I can't say I loved it. There were parts I liked, but overall, I was less-than-impressed.
