2. I love that fucking book! If you enjoy it, pick up The Whalestoe Letters which

includes extra letters from the mother and new meaning with the different ordering.

I must say I was very disappointed with Danielewski's most recent book, Only Revolutions.

A friend gave me my copy of House of Leaves. She had bought it on a whim and hated it. The copy came with a cd with MZD and his sister Poe, reading a bit from the book over music. I canceled all my plans and just sat there for 12 hours straight reading the damned thing until I finished it.
