If you're into crime/mystery/suspense and authors like John Sandford or Mike Connelly the odds are excellent you'll enjoy The BLP catalog. What's different and enjoyable about the books from BLP is they're all from European and Latin American writers. There's an excellent quadlet of novels about an alcoholic police detective baseball star woulda been set in Havana,a very moving novel involving neighborhood intrique in Norway and some on the humorous side in Italy. I can recommend the entire catalog and I'm anxiously awaiting for more translations to make it to this side of the pond. So far I've had real good luck getting my library to order the books and they're proving to be pretty popular.
