J. A. Konrath, WHISKEY SOUR

Started a new series of books by J. A. Konrath. Read the first one, WHISKEY SOUR, and I think I'll get the others. Main character is Police Lt. Jack Daniels (a woman); takes place in Chicago.

You mean the author is a man???? Unfxxking unbelievable.

The book is written in first person of Lt. Jack Daniels, who is a female. I was sure that Konrath was female. I'll bet he's scary ;O) :)
He sure knows a lot about females, their wardrobes and problems. And he/she's such a wiseguy/gal.

I'm waiting for BLOODY MARY to get to the library. I have RUSTY NAIL and DIRTY MARTINI but want to read them in proper sequence. None of the 3 books I have on hand have a picture of the author on the cover.

Thanks for the heads up - as I said, I liked WHISKEY SOUR.
