Murder mysteries that take place at the Mardi Gras in N-O--anybody know of any?

Just occurred to me yesterday that would be a great setting for a mystery. Not just N-O; I know there are lots of those. But one that occurs during Mardi Gras.

Black Widow's Wardrobe by Lucha Corpi, 1999 Arte Publico Press revolves around an apparition in San Francisco's DDLM (dia de los muertos) parade, and La Llorona. Here's a bit of review written by author Manuel Ramos at La Bloga:

3. There's a series of New Orleans mysteries by Julie Smith

She hasn't written anything lately, and I can't recall anything specifically about the Mardi Gras, but you could check them out.

Also, for Louisiana in general, James Lee Burke has a Cajun main character named Dave Robichoux. The character lives in New Iberia but is a former New Orleans cop and maintains a lot of connections there.
