What does the term "stiff wraps" refer to about a book?
I can't find a definition of it. I'm thinking it means that the covers are in good condition but I'm lost.

5. I knew it wouldn't take long!
Oh, for shame, Ms. Patsy!

I did try to use the online dictionary and even asked a question using Google. No dice.

I could ask the question at Abe Books online but it's way more fun here - and I feel less of a dunce. Readers here are pretty cool beans, yunno. At Abe Books some people are even having "words" in a bulletin board thread where someone told another board member to kiss her ass. At Abe Books! So I scooted back here to ask. :D

9. I thought it might be bookbinding in very good condition
And I thought about Googling it, and then I started giggling merely at the possibilities of the return.

6. I found that one but now tell me - what are wraps?!
So I went over to the online dictionary for an obscure definition of wraps and found nothing relating to books. Oh well.

Google is *your* friend!

3. Looks to be the cover of a paperback book that is thicker than average.
"Stiff Wraps
Wrappers of above average thickness. "

"Wrappers
The outer covering of a paperback book, often sewn or stapled in sections. This term should be distinguished from "wrapper" which refers to the dust jacket of a hardcover book."

7. Thank you!
So it's a soft cover book, then. Appreciate it. I'm looking to purchase an old book and this helps a lot. I didn't know that it ever went into soft cover.

8. Thanks for jumping in to help, Jim
I never heard of Hollander Books and will visit there right away. I always go to Abe Books but it's nice to learn about a new online book place.
