Someone mentioned that James Lee Burke's daughter, Alafair, was also an author. Got an email today from SYKM listing new hardcovers out and saw this one on it...I've never read any of her stuff.

1. She's a nice read
Not quite as lyrical or long winded as her Daddy (and I love her Daddy's work.) I'd recommend her. I've set aside a lot of authors but I've read two of her books and enjoyed.
