I just love that book - well, it is kind of short for a novel- maybe a novella. It's Jewish so the concept of death in the cemetary is a Jewish one. The new people come and stick around for a few days and then they go to sleep for good eventually.

About the man who goes to live in the cemetary. I read it again not too long ago but that book stayed with me for years and years. I think I would really kind of like to just be able to go and live in a cemetary away from it all.

1. He has a Raven also, if I recall correctly.
It's been a while since I read it, but I very much like his writings.

2. Yes. The raven has an attitude and he brings the food.
And two ghosts fall in love.

It is such a strange little beautiful book.
