It's a quick, fun read about a murder and an 11-year-old sleuth (Flavia DeLuce) in the countryside of 1950s England.

Flavia is a chemistry buff who knows all about poisons. And she's a little smartass, and I love her!

Really fun book.

Bradley has two more Flavia DeLuce novels planned.
