http://www.njedge.net/~knapp/FuFrames.htmThis shows that a new novel/series is in the works:
"Black Coat Press have listed the novel, THE TERROR OF FU MANCHU on their 2009 schedule. This is the first authorized appearance of the Devil Doctor in 22 years. The book is on Black Coat's 2009 schedule. Cover Artist Christine Clavel is rendering Dr. Fu Manchu as Sax Rohmer envisioned him without facial hair and resembling the Pharaoh Seti I. No less an authority than Dr. Lawrence Knapp is penning the foreword for the special hardcover edition of the book that also includes a bonus 20-page standalone chapter. The story is set in December 1913 within the same narrative gap in Rohmer's THE HAND OF FU MANCHU that Cay Van Ash mined for TEN YEARS BEYOND BAKER STREET. The standalone chapter is set in 1929 and connects the events of Rohmer's original three novels with the series revival in the thirties. The best news is there is more Fu Manchu to come as the Estate are finalizing a deal to allow the original series to be reprinted. Plans are also afoot for further original Fu Manchu stories. Christopher Lee was right. The world shall hear from Fu Manchu again."
