I just read Practical Demonkeeping

1. They're both pretty good!
Pick either one and read the other one after it.

4. Lamb is my first choice
A Dirty Job would be a close second. But if you want to read them in order then Coyote Blue should be next. Characters overlap from story to story too.

5. Reading them in order
sounds like a plan. My local library seems to have most of them.

3. The Island of the Sequined Love Nun...
...was recommended to me by a DUer, a few years ago, when I was looking for some vacation reading. It was pretty funny and moved quickly.
