Hell: A Novel.
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/arts/la-et-book31-2009aug31,0,3816136.story

I just heard an interview with the author on our local NPR affiliate. What an intriguing book. Sounds like a pretty good read. Anyone else picked this up yet?

4. I fondled it a great deal at the library this past weekend
but ended up putting it back on the shelf.

Maybe I'll go back for it.

6. I'm reading it now. You're right, it is very weird.
But strangely amusing at the same time. I just got to the part where he is starting to interview Satan so I've got a ways to go yet, even though it's a small book. I just keep waiting to see who's going to pop up next.

:hi:

Did you read the inside cover sleeve, under the author's photo? The name of the photographer of the author? LOL

17. So this is the novelized version of Sartre's quote "Hell is other people."
Or is it the opposite of that quote?

For some reason, I found the last five or six pages completely predictable and completely enjoyable. I just loved the ending!
