6. STILL LIFE and A FATAL GRACE by Louise Penny |
|
Just finished Still Life this morning and liked it very much. Penny is a very gifted mystery writer.
Will start A Fatal Grace tonight and hope it's as good.
I'm glad that she has 4 more coming after A Fatal Grace.
Louise Penny was recommended by 'TheCentepedeShoes' in a post a few months ago...thank you.

11. Robert Parker & Norman Mailer |
|
I think I've about OD'd on Spenser. Mailer on Picasso is fun to read. Mailer doesn't just quote, he orchestrates; the text seems to be 40/60, Mailer/sources. Comprehensive notes and a bibliography. I bet it stung when the publishers put Picasso's name above Mailer's on the cover.

14. Classic Heinlein... "Starman Jones" |
|
Found it in the children's library and couldn't resist. I think I read it in middle school.
Sadly, it hadn't been checked out in years. :-(
