4. Try to start from the beginning, if you can.
Harry Bosch is a GREAT character, so if you're starting from scratch it would be nice to see him develop through the series. (He also appears in The Brass Verdict, which is the followup to The Lincoln Lawyer, so it would be nice to get to know him.) :)

You can find a list of just the Harry Bosch books at the Harry Bosch wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Bosch), or all of the Connelly books at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Connelly .

He likes to weave the characters from his different books into each others' series, so reading them all in order isn't a bad idea.

Harry Bosch has even made an appearance in a Robert Crais book, just as a cameo on the front stairs of LAPD HQ.

One of my favorite authors since Robert B. Parker, and before that John D. MacDonald. I really like Connelly.

6. THE FIFTH WITNESS coming out in April 2010
It's another Connelly book, Mickey Haller #4, and a Bosch book (#17) in November - these are hardbacks.

The Fifth Witness paperback comes out in November...
