British Writer Charlie Owen

Accidentally found his books and can't get them at my library or eMichigan Libraries. There's another source I haven't tried, it's the "real" Inter Library Loan Request, which differs from the Michigan libraries that I always use. Never used it and sometimes you have to pay postage, sometimes not.

Anyway, the author's is Charlie Owen. He wrote:

Amazon says they're all funny, but there are no reviews from people, just editorials.

Has anyone read any of these? Wondering if I should try to request them.

I watched a free bit on Kindle and it seems a little dirty - supposed to be very funny. Don't like Kindle, got tired of pushing the arrow, don't like a pure white background, and pages are too short.
