Spent a couple hours browsing at our local bookstore today.

Had a coffee drink and found a lot of great books
in the discount section. There is something about a book store/library
that is so peaceful that it takes all my stress away. Always feel that
i'm among old friends....if they had the proper place would arrange for
my ashes to be stored there....z

7. Bought a whole bagful...everything from "Tree Houses of the World"

for my DIL, to "How to Read Music" for my husband
who played first chair flute in orchestra without reading
a note of music. (Someone played it for him once and that's
all he needed...always amazed me.) Got a few mysteries, etc
for us as well.....z

5. I once worked at a second hand book store. I would come across books I just had to have as I dusted.

So I'd leave every day with an armfull of books and no pay.

6. Sad thing about bookstores is the selection

is to limited these days, not even worth going, when it is easier and more convenient to find a place with a decent inventory online.

I suspect they going the way of horse buggy dealerships, dragged down by obsolescence.

I find the smell of books soothing, so I really love to visit bookstores. No other better way to relieve stress than going to bookstores.
