FREE Amos Walker Short Story collection
If you're a fan of Loren D. Estleman's Amos Walker series and you've got a kindle or a computer, you can read the published version of "Amos Walker: The Complete Story Collection" for free. (I'm reading it in my browser on kindle's new "cloud" option, which I like a lot since I sit in front of a computer all day.)

Why it's free, I have no idea. Amos Walker is one of my favorites, though, so I jumped on it. I'm up to the fourth short story and I'm only 10% of the way through the book. This has made my whole weekend! :)

1. My Library has one called
Amos Walker: the complete story collection in hardcover - 637 pp.

I only read hardcovers - and they have 11 other selections by Estleman. I put a couple on my list to remember and a couple to request.

Have a big backload like most of us have, but Amos will soon join my ficitonal family. Thank you for the rec...

(Oh - the library is free too ;))

2. That's the one.
It's a huge book. I'm 20% of the way done right now, and enjoying it tremendously.

No libraries over here, so finding a free book by one of my long-time favorites is a big bonus. :)

3. Oops, not so free...
I went to recommend this book to my brother and now it shows up with a price. Apparently it's only free to Amazon Prime members (which I am, because I work overseas and have to ship EVERYTHING that I buy for myself or others). I don't recall it showing up that way when I initially purchased, so I'm sorry if I steered anybody wrong.

Still not a bad deal for $7.69, but much better if you follow fadedrose's suggestion and support your local public library. :)
