Question? Can't remember the title of a book..............

I read a book several months ago with a synopsis like this:


A Professor in South Africa loses his teaching job due to an inappropriate relation he had with a female student. He then retreats
to his estranged daughter's home/farm in So. Africa and has distrubing
relevations and times there (for both himself and his daughter).

Has anyone here read this book and can relay title/author to me?

4. Thanks - and the funny thing was, I was trying to conjur up the cover

of this book and couldn't come up with anything. Thought it must be pretty nondescript and then when I brought it up on Amazon - it's a totally white cover with just the title across the face.........LOL.

For instance, there's a used-book store in Vancouver WA selling Coetzee's "Disgrace" for $2.15. Usually shipping is another $3 or so.
