Name a good book about the French Revolution
which reads well, and is less than 500 pages.

Thanks. I'm thinking of the one by C. Hibbert, any one read it?

2. Not really a history of the French Revolution
but "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens is a great read that takes place during the period. Also "The Scarlet Pimpernel" by Baroness Emmuska Orczy is another good read that takes place around then.

7. Yes, I saw it on Saturday.
It's time for our own Revolution, but no head chopping. Thanks, all.

I read "Tale...." years ago but not "Les...", which I intend to in PB form. If it's as good as his "Hunchback...." I know I'll like it.

Yesterday, I was do some pre-spring cleaning and one of my daughter's Polly Pocket doll head's was on the floor. She said the doll lost it in the French Revolution. I gave her a hug.
