"Franklin & Winston" by Jon Meacham - should I read it?
Rec'd as a gift, but I'm suspicious as it is written by Meacham, managing editor of Newsweek.

I don't want to delve into it and get sucked into a sly right-wing slamming of FDR, wasting my valuable reading time.

Any opinions or thoughts?
