"The Surivivor" by John F. Harris
A very readable account of Bill Clinton's years in the White House. I checked it out at the library last week and couldn't put it down. Very good, largely favorable look at Clinton's years as President. Some interesting info that I have'nt read before.

You might want to read it if you get the chance.

1. My wife gave me a $50 gift certificate for Barnes & Noble....
...for Father's Day, and I'm planning on using it to get the Harris book. I'm glad to hear a positive review before I spend my money!

By the way, have you ever read any of the following:

The Natural (by Joe Klein)
First in His Class (by Davie Maraniss)
POTUS Speaks (by Michael Waldman)
Bill Clinton and Black America (by Dewayne Wickham)
Clinton & Me (by Mark Katz)

And I've been meaning to read the David Maraniss book (I've just read nothing but glowing reviews)

Haven't read the others.

One more book I haven't read that I've been meaning to is Sidney Blumenthal's book "The Clinton Wars".

And enjoy the Harris book. :-)

3. I've also been meaning to read "The Clinton Wars"
I have a copy at home, but I haven't read it (yet).

So far I've read about two chapters of "My Life"...I tend to read several books at once, so it may take me awhile to get through the whole thing!
