This is an interesting book

I am reading Malcolm Gladwell's "The Tipping Point". I really think it provides some great insights into the nature of sociological movements. It might be a good idea for anyone leaning left to read. Anyone read it yet? I am enjoying it so far.

6. Read Freakanomics too, better than both of Gladwell's books

but the same flavor. He's an economist who evaluates questions using the economic model. You'd never know it was "about" economics.

What factors make good parents? You'll be very surprised.

Why did the crime rate drop in the 1990's? More cops on the streets? Nope, legalization of abortion 20 years earlier. He makes a good case.

Lots of "studies" to challenge conventional thinking.

(I did very much like Blink. Tipping Point, not as much but both good reads.)
