Help! What should I do?
Four chapters into The People's History (front to back, no cheating this time), so I can participate in the discussion thread this month, but then my Amazon order arrives...

The Long Emergency

Crossing the Rubicon (finally)

Ornx and Crake (Atwood)

9-11 (Chomsky)

What to do? Even I can't read 5 books at once! My head will explode. How do I choose?

1. I wish I could help you, I'm reading about 5 at once myself
Uh, go with 9-11 by Chomsky. I read it pretty fast, so it might go by quick for you.

3. I'm trying to read a Mike Mansfield bio, but I do have a few others
I haven't even touched for a while that I should finish first. Not to mention newspapers, magazines etc. It never ends. :)

4. Grab a Big Bag of Chips
and sit yourself down and the reading will go quickly. I understand the problem. I always have four or five books going at one time--one in each room so when there is a free moment, I have one handy.
