someone was describing a very interesting book to me today regarding the Civil War and the parts of New York and some of the NorthEast coast who sympathized with the South and wanted to secede as well. She said it had the word "Implicit" in the title and I've been searching Amazon to no avail - yet.

Sound familiar to any of you?

Never heard of "IMPLICIT" although "COMPLICIT" would be more like it.

Anyhow try the this BOOK++++ Copperheads: The Rise and Fall of Lincoln’s Opponents in the North, by Jennifer L. Weber

a really good read and will tell you what you need to know.
