I got it last night at Target. There were only 3 copies left.
When I opened it, I was shocked to see all the CIA redactions were left in the book. There is blacked out stuff all over the place. I have never seen anything like this!

1. Chris Matthews did a good job interviewing her yesterday. |
|
One of the interviews we saw showed the blacked out redactions in the book itself.
I think that one is coming as an audiobook to the radio station but not sure. Maybe it's another book.
Thanks for your post.

2. I just got my signed copy today! |
|
A friend got it for me from the book signing at Borders in Washington, D.C. on the 25th.
A magnificent keepsake! OMG it is precious!
I'm going to bag it up and store it away and get another, unsigned copy to read.
Crazy huh???

4. How do the redactions effect the content of the book? |
|
I knew the CIA had redacted a lot of stuff in her book. But, I expected that she would use something to replace that. Is the book actually missing a lot of content that was intended to be there?

In one of her tv interviews she said that at the back of the book another person researched and deduced what is in the redactions. They wrote an epilogue detailing the facts they found. Right away I was able to know what was redacted - it's the name of a country. I don't want to post any spoilers, so that's all I'll say. But if the portion of the epilogue I read is typical, then you shouldn't have a problem figuring out what's missing. And the redactions don't really break up the flow of the read. It's going smoothly for me.

5. Blitzer interviewed her & he didn't even mention the redacted parts. |
|
:eyes:
He probably doesn't know what the word redacted means. He's so in over his head -- what an embarrassment -- well, not to our media, but to real journalists everywhere.

6. Obviously, dumbass didn't read the book. |
|
I picked "Fair Game" up at the Library yesterday. I'm reading it...but it IS tough going because of the redacted parts. Hell, entire pages are blacked out.
