If you like true adventure, danger, WWII stories, and cultural anthorpology then read:
"The Airmen and the Headhunters: A True Story of Lost Soldiers, Heroic Tribesmen and the Unlikeliest Rescue of World War II ", by Judith Heiman (super good story!)

Entertainment Weekly :
"Heimann brings a visceral urgency to one of WWII''s most unlikely tales. Along the way, she makes us like the airmen rethink our definitions of civilized and savage."

Kirkus Reviews :
"ew writers could have tracked down this captivating story. paints a vivid picture of the indigenous people who comfortably inhabited the dense jungle and carried on a flourishing trade with the coast... A fascinating anthropology lesson, delivered with the bonus of a dramatic adventure and a happy ending."

2. Hey there good buddy, I know you from the postings about
sinking ships in WWII. I read some you recommended. Still, I like the USS Indianapolis one the best so far. I had so many of those I started to get all glum and stuff so I returned them to the library. (All the ones by that same author.) As a matter of fact I was going to read another one of his books about the Union Carbide chemical leak in Bhopol and found an even better one about that incident:

But yes, I'm sure you like the Airmen and Headhunters.
