Patti Boyd is an expectional woman who endured a lot of grief from the rock star men who said they loved her. George became withdrawn and chanted all the time and thought having extra girl friends was no big deal. He was nice to her family and paid attention to her younger siblings.

Eric was very, very mean and very scary. He didn't want her to talk to her own family and was very jealous but cheated on her in front of her face. I used to like some of his songs like "Bell Bottom Blues", some people think he's a God or something. He was down right scary if you asked me...controlling and abusive as hell. Thank God she didn't tell us everything, it was difficult to read that. Eric told her if she didn't leave George he'd become a herion addict and he did. When he got off that he drank like a fish to the point of almost killing himself. She regretted leaving George, who really was a good person inside. Eric, I'm not so sure about. I don't even like the song, "Wonderful Tonight". I don't think I like him either. All that drinking and drug taking, not so fun at all. It made me weary just to read about it.

Eric was an undiagnosed manic-depressive, just like nearly every high-strung, creative-genius-type person. He made mistakes like any young person will. George could be hard to get along with as well, I understand. So just throw all of these two artists' masterpieces of creative genius in the dumper, right? Ms. Boyd has forgiven these two massively talented individuals their trespasses, and perhaps you yourself must now begin that process. Best luck!

Yes, they've paid. I must say I was very surprised though. You'd have to read the book but if you're a guy you wouldn't understand what abused women go through. She never says if Eric apologized for what he did to her. Maybe so. Thank goodness she didn't tell us everything. Furthermore, not every creative genius is manic-depressive and it sure doesn't give them a green light to be nasty towards others. So right, I'll chant and begin the process of forgiving them. Geez.

7. In every Beatle book I've ever read she is described as "toothy"

which cracks me up. She was obviously very attractive, but this adjective comes up again and again.

John Lennon hit Cynthia at least once (in the new Philip Norman book).

It came out in Paul McCartney's recent divorce that he mentioned in his tapped phone conversations that he used to hit Linda. I have seen pictures of Linda looking absolutely miserable.

Cynthia said that if she had it all to do over again, she would NOT.

12. I heard her interviewed on the radio years ago by Michael Jackson out of LA...

and she came across as very bright.

I can't imagine what it must have been like to be so young and get hit by Beatlemania. As Ringo Starr said, at least they had the other Beatles, it must have been terrible to be Elvis dealing with it all alone. It had to be even worse for Cynthia, etc.
