When I was in high school, I owned a (totally fake except for the size) katana and a trenchcoat.

Naturally, I tried to see how well I could conceal the katana on my person while wearing the coat.

The answer? Not very. In fact, it was about as unsuccessful as you'd likely imagine.


There's no way you sit in the Garden for hours watching pro-wrestling with a katana in your pocket.

2. Scotland - The Story Of A Nation by Magnus Magnusson

Very well written. Debunks a lot of Scottish "history" and explains most events in the context of what is going on elsewhere in the world. My only objection is that the book refers to my own noble family as "bandits". :)

Can be read from cover to cover or as a pick up book, but is indexed so it can be used as a reference book.
