Lark Previn, a daughter of actress Mia Farrow whose sister Soon-Yi Previn was at the center of Farrow's messy breakup with Woody Allen, has died. She was 35.

Lark Previn died Christmas Day at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, the medical examiner's office said. No cause of death was given. A cremation was held Tuesday at Brooklyn's Green-Wood Cemetery.

Lark Previn was born in Vietnam in 1973. She was one of three children adopted by Farrow and her then-husband, conductor Andre Previn. The couple also had three biological children.

Representatives for Farrow and Previn didn't immediately return calls seeking comment.

3. Then why bother reading the OP?
And why bother posting about your lack of feelings as to someone's death?

10. I care about health care, too
Funny, you say that when called out on your stupid post, but nowhere did you say it until called out.

Perhaps your point would have been better made were to have mentioned it.

I'm just sayin' ......

11. Privileged people? A child born in Vietnam in 1973? You are missing
the point. Even with all the help her well to do parents could give her still she dies at age 35.

16. Lark Previn? 35 and unmarried?
No cause of death. So they know and they're not telling, or they don't care to find out.

I'm not someone who worshipped at the feet of that woman's "maternal" instincts. Legally changing the FIRST name of a child because you're mad at the father is OTT to me.

2. There are several celebrities losing kids lately
Mia Farrow loses a daughter, Dr. Dre loses a son, and now John Travolta has lost a son. :(

I can't think of anything worse than losing a child. My heart goes out to them all.

19. Andre Previn is a brilliant conductor.
He was brilliant 40 years ago when I saw him conducting.
And I'm not going to judge Mia Farrow's character.

20. When a child dies before her parents, or when a person dies, period, it's tragic.
Especially so young. Whether she's privileged or not.

And to trumpet the fact that one personally doesn't give a shit is insensitive, boorish and just makes that person look like an ass to whom class-war resentment is more important than anything else in life.

22. Both girls were victims of war.
Edited on Sun Jan-04-09 06:02 PM by Cleita
They were found starving and eating out of garbage cans. Who knows what kind of chronic medical conditions they have because of this and because of toxic chemicals left behind by our ordnance or the psychological damage from watching people die up close. Dying at the age of thirty-five is tragic. My condolences to the families.

24. Previn has previously received hospital treatment for AIDS-related pneumonia.

More information here:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1103220/Mia-Farrow-mourns-death-adopted-daughter-Lark-Previn-Christmas-Day.html

The cause of death has not been released, but Previn has previously received hospital treatment for AIDS-related pneumonia.
Her family would only disclose that she had been ill for over a decade.

Previn is survived by her partner Robert Garcia and her two children Sara, 13, and Christine, 12.

Lark Previn was born in Vietnam in 1973 and was one of three children adopted by Farrow and her then-husband, conductor Andre Previn. The couple also had three biological children before divorcing in 1979.
