11. Me too! I can hardly wait.
This is one series that is worth having the complete set on DVD to watch when there is nothing to watch.

3. Who has guesses?

EVERYONE has guesses. :)

I'd say I suspect we'll all be surprised, but since I've seen arguments for every single cast member being the final of the Five, I guess *someone* won't be.

Edited on Mon Jan-12-09 07:26 PM by Confusious
I read some of the spoilers on a couple of sites, but they don't say anything about earth, final 5, final show, just "This guy is going to be a piano player".

DAMN! I HAVE TO KNOW!

10. I won't try to guess
That's the best thing about this series - it continues to surprise. Most series, yeah a lot of red shirts will die; our hero will be hurt and become sadder but wiser, yada yada. But right now there's any number of ways BSG could shake out. The humans may elect to stay and try to make Earth habitable, fail and the Cylons move on or vice versa. They could go for each other's throats again. The Centurions are a X-factor. They're self aware now and may have their own agenda. Hell, the Final Five could be a McGuffin.

4. My guess is that ALL OF THEM are cylons....
and they've been fighting each other this whole time.

SO thinks it's President Roslin.

12. Yes, but didn't Apollo/Lee Adama say they didn't have to keep repeating the same
actions over and over again when that was brought up? It apparently all seems to be hinging around Hera since she is the one taken into the opera house by the Six and Baltar. Maybe it's Baltar?

13. Hi-Frakin-Larious. Dirk Benedict (starbuck) would be awesome - even better if ...
he was there with Mr. T, Dwight Schultz, and the late George Peppard digitally brought back to the screen.

I love it when a plan comes together.

14. Unless it was a red herring...
I'm guessing Roslin, because in a full-page ad in last week's Entertainment Weekly, there was an ultra closeup of part of her face, and there was something hexagonal in the pupil of her eye. It looked mechanical. A hint? or just something to throw us off?

15. So they said it was Ellen but Ellen was killed by Tigh.
I think it's Starbuck, the new Starbuck. Cara was blown up in a cloud, returned two months later in a new Viper thinking she had only been gone five hours, with some goofy stuff about comets, stars and ringed planets in her head claiming she had been to earth. It all points to the fact that a new Cara could have been manufactured with her memories, a clone, sort of, but a Cylon clone. Of course they could resurrect Ellen as well, but we'll see.
