Now let's talk about the finale! Last night was one of the worst examples of 'live' televison I've ever seen. What was Regis Philbin doing there? Why did they have to 'poll' the audience to see how many people liked Kelly? I genuinely felt sorry for Jennifer. The guy named Matt Calimari made a fool out of himself. This was pretty pathetic.

and thought you meant $200,000 and not $2000. Note the check was cut back in June 2003. He gave even more money to Charlie Rangel and has also plopped down a grand for Teddy Kennedy's 2006 Senate bid. That guy gives money to everyone.

2. Polling the audience made Trump look like a complete fool

It was like he was saying, "gee I'm not sure so I'm going with the popular opinion".

Once again, though, this is an example of a double standard. Men can be strong, decisive, even abrasive--and its a positive attribute. Women are just considered b-tches.

As far as Kelly goes--he was bland, boring, and not a leader, no matter what his resume says. He was completely uninspiring.

5. He may have been bland and boring on TV

but he was a good leader and didn't get into a cat fight in the board room like Jen and Sandy. Jen also needed to be directed she doesn't have that creative personality the several other contestants had. The Donald himself said she flew under the radar and he hates people who do that. Her fate was sealed from that comment on unless Kelly completely blew his final task. Also, Kelly won more tasks and for someone like Trump results matter. I thinks the final should have been Kevin and Kelly, or anybody but Chris. That's my $0.02.

8. Jen lost it for me when she blatantly took credit for Ivana's idea

on the Gap project. Imagine how impressed everyone would have been if she had said to the Gap executive, "You are so kind but I have to point out that the dial card was Ivana's idea." I think she would have gotten some mileage out of that with Trump, too.

To me, a good leader publicly acknowledges the contributions of others and publicly takes responsibility for mistakes while privately discussing the mistakes with the errant team member. Jen's strategy was to be a good team member who refused to lead -- that way, she could disavow herself of the mistakes and jump in and take credit for the successes.

Those screaming matches were embarrassing and I can't believe that Trump was impressed by them!

10. I totally agree, Jen wasn't even the PM on that task

she can't function in a team or leading a team. She needs to go back to SF and talk herself up as a Princeton and Harvard grad. Another thing, she said that Harvard Law was the best in the country. Tell that to Yale. She probably fit in like Elle Woods in Legally blond being the president of her sorority and all. I wonder if it was Delta Nu.

In fact, the best people got booted long ago. I have no idea how those two lasted to the end.

so I pretty much lost interest since their firings. The girls all lost me in the first ep, too Ann Coulterish. I saw the winner, and to tell you the truth, he's a clone of the first season's winner, just can't tell them apart.

Last season Bill, a white man, organized a golf tournament.

This season Kelly, another white man, organized a polo match.

Wow, white men are good at putting on white men conventions, you're hired!

Seriously, is he just going to hire white men every time? Because they could probably get jobs like that without going on a reality show.

15. I believe Trump hires "yes, men" who will do his bidding well

He probably knows from the beginning who would best suit him. Jennifer nor Kevin didn't stand a chance.

16. I am so over this show

And the finale was a prime example of why. It was about 50 hours longer than it needed to be, it was "hosted" by the most irritating person on earth, and the actual naming of the winner was so anti-climactic, if you blinked you'd have missed it. Not that it mattered because there was absolutely no surprise what-so-fucking-ever as to what the results would be because of the Kelly lovefest leading up to it. The entire enterprise seemed like one long, bloated excuse to pimp products.
