Live Action Movie Review: The Ruins

Genre: Bad situation/Suffering

Story: A group of young adults decide to visit some ruins, a Mayan pyramid, on the last day of their fun Mexican vacation. The moment they arrive at the ruins a group of armed people tell them they are not allowed to leave, then some supernatural-like events happen. I really liked the bare-bones story, but I would have liked to have known a little bit more about the situation.

Acting: Not bad.

Humor: A couple of jokes in the beginning. The main purpose of the jokes are for character development.

Violence: The Ruins is surprisingly gruesome. Contains scenes of prolonged, intense suffering.

Sex: Side shot of an attractive nude woman, the characters mention sexual situations, and there is some kissing.

Overall: I had low expectations for this movie, but it is actually pretty good. Some of the scenes made me squirm, which is really fun. The beginning of the movie is typical, but the rest is delightful. Check it out.

Three hundred fifty pages of people being eaten by vines...got a little boring.

I have watched the The Ruins movie. It is very interesting movie. I have watched it near about 5 times. Because it is my favorite movie so I have learn the every dialog of this movie.......
