Adam Lambert is definitely NOT the next Elvis - new songs being released
Anyone heard the latest song from Adam's upcoming cd?

http://perezhilton.com/category/adam-lambert/

It's called Whataya Want From Me and it's horrible. I actually didn't mind the song from the 2012 movie but wow this new one is really bad. I'm guessing he's a one album guy and then he'll move on to some random movie roles before he ends up on Broadway.

1. 2012 movie? Aren't you getting ahead of yourself? Sounds like you just
don't like him. I do, and can't wait to hear his first CD.

4. Although I basically didn't like Adam's music, I certainly appreciate the fact that...
Edited on Fri Nov-13-09 11:25 PM by LakeSamish706
he was the most talented X 10 of anyone close to him on American Idol.... Adam is a very special talent and deserves all good things that are coming his way.

Change didn't like to didn't appreciate... Absolute talent.

10. Yeah, I've never understood why that is considered an insult.
I'd love to have the talent to be on Broadway.

13. It isn't a bad thing. I'm happy for him to do whatever he would like.
I'm just re-responding to all the people who thought he was this generation's Elvis after he lost on Idol.

6. When the heck did Adam ever say he wanted to be Elvis?
He described his upcoming album exactly the way it sounds. What he's recording is going to sell a lot better than the 2012 over the top orchestra treatment ballad.

Adam is talented and has a fantastic personality and major people in the music industry love him. He'll do just fine without your support.

14. He didn't but many of his supporters were saying that after he lost on Idol.
I agree that he's talented. I really like the guy and expecially that he's pushing boundaries on TV and such, but after he lost Idol and everyone was going on and on about how amazing he is and that he was the next Elvis or something...I didn't get that from him at all.

11. It sounds like you have more of a problem with Lambert than this song.
I can't wait to buy his new album.

15. The pressure is just to get something out in short order.
He's got a good voice, so he's got a future.

Same for Boyle, whose CD is cautious and rushed.

Best of luck to them both.

18. I guess you just don't appreciate good music. Adam is listed as #2 in the top 100 tenors of rock
and the opera company of San Diego has classically evaluated his voice as one of the best they have ever heard. They also claim his training is evident.Adam is a far better singer than Elvis, who I loved and WWFM is a wonderful haunting song.It conveys wonderful heartfelt emotion. I am sorry you can't appreciate it.Thankfully , we don't all have to appreciate the same things!

20. I love Whataya Want From Me (for your entertainment, not at ALL)! And Adam is a great talent, but
I can hear him go pitchy and off key often, nonetheless, he's freaking AWESOME and will get better in his 30's hopefully, like George Michael did.

I hope his next CD is a big more rock oriented than this one, but to say Whataya Want From Me sucks like the OP said, is unfair, it's a really good mid-tempo pop tune.

He can have such a haunting soft voice, or that booming scream that electrifies the audience, like when he sang with Kiss & Queen.
