Story: Aliens invade Earth and their weapon of choice is zombie plague! Ace, a man who is obsessed with the rock band Guitar Wolf, combs his hair and tries to save a love interest while the Guitar Wolf members battle the undead and and play rock music.

Acting: Average.

Humor: Very funny movie.

Violence: Exploding heads, people being eaten, typical zombie violence.

Sex: Brief nudity.

Overall: Wild Zero is a really fun and extremely silly movie. Guitar Wolf is a real punk band and they do most of the music in the movie. I highly suggest Wild Zero to zombie fans and those who would like something mindless and different.

One of the special features on the Synapse release of Wild Zero is a drinking game. You are supposed to drink whenever someone combs their hair, fire shoots out of anything, a zombie's head gets blown off, anything explodes, anyone says "Rock 'N' Roll," or anyone drinks. A picture of a mug will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen whenever one of these events occur if you have the drinking game turned on.

Ace is the romantic male lead.


Guitar Wolf shares his philosophy on love with Ace.


The members of Guitar Wolf are Guitar Wolf, Bass Wolf, and Drum Wolf.
