Sharon Stone: Meryl Streep looks like an 'unmade bed' (it's a compliment, really!)

While discussing Streep's appeal, Stone says, "Meryl looks like an unmade bed. That's what I look like. To me, that looks true."

The "Basic Instinct" star was actually trying to pay her respects to the 60-year-old Streep, who is currently starring in the romantic comedy "It's Complicated."

"I think that's why Meryl Streep is working so much, because she looks like a woman we can all relate to," says Stone

Streep has always had that look that I think all can relate to (not just women). She was never really a classic beauty by today's standards, and I think she's played to that in the roles she's chosen for herself. I think she's the best female lead in the last half century.
