‘Dexter’ star being treated for cancer
Michael C. Hall says he has Hodgkin’s lymphoma

updated 2:33 p.m. PT, Wed., Jan. 13, 2010
LOS ANGELES - "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall is undergoing treatment for cancer and the disease is in remission, a spokesman said.

"I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care," Hall, 38, said Wednesday in a statement.

The actor was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's immune system. The disease is considered highly treatable with the potential for full recovery.

1. Oh, I'm glad they have it under control.
I always liked Michael from Six Feet Under and now Dexter.

2. My son was diagnosed with the the same cancer.
He's been in remission now for 7 years. That's great considering the dr.'s misdiagnosed him for almost a year. He was Stage III. Instead of 3 months chemo he had 6 months.

He and I love Dexter and wish the best for him.

6. I was very happy to see Michael win a Golden Globe tonight,
but was so sad to see him accept the award wearing a stocking cap to hide his baldness from chemo. :( I'm glad to know he will recover.

Hall SO deserved that win! And so did Lithgow. They were absolutely phenomenal together this past season.

8. From what I've seen of his real life personality
he seems like a really nice guy. And what a great actor.
