Duggar Sons Help Save Injured Girl ( Perform CPR On 6-Year-Old Crash Victim)
I put this in Entertainment because I really don't think it deserves to be anywhere else.
It was on the entertainment section of my local news station's website also.
And I'm sure that it will end up on their show somehow...

Duggar Sons Help Save Injured Girl
John, Joshua Duggar Perform CPR On 6-Year-Old Crash Victim

POSTED: 10:22 am EST February 3, 2010
UPDATED: 11:00 am EST February 3, 2010

SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Two of the Duggar sons are being hailed as heroes, after family members said they helped save the life of a 6-year-old girl injured in a car crash last week.

...snip...

The three-car crash happened in front of Joshua Duggar's car dealership last Thursday, Fort Smith, Ark., TV station KHBS reported.

“I thought fender bender, no big deal, happens quite often here actually," Joshua Duggar said. " And then I realized there was a little girl."

...snip...

She was not breathing, so he and his brother, John, started CPR.

Minutes later, paramedics showed up. And with the Duggars’ help, they were able to revive the girl, named Maddye.

1. Credit where it's due...
I wouldn't expect anything less.

2. Good for them... But, I celebrate all the anonymous good samaritans
who will never have their good deeds publicized, given they don't come from a lime-light-seeking family.

3. A Frank Capra moment.
If the Duggars hadn't squeezed out so many crawlers, would that little girl be dead now?

I've never been a Duggar basher. Glad someone was there for the child. I would worship anyone who brought my child back from the dead.

4. I met this family in a restaurant, about 15 years ago

I think they were on about kid 11 or 12, at the time. (I even have a wallet sized family photo with their number on it somewhere)

I must say, it was impressive how the older kids helped the younger kids and how the meal was not just mass chaos, lol. It doesn't surprise me to hear about their willingness and ability to help in an emergency situation.

5. What I've been trying to figure out is which car dealership belongs to Joshua Duggar, so I can not
go there. The little girl is in critical condition yet this morning.

6. The family owns a few used-car dealerships in the area, don't they?

7. Oh, used cars. I looked at the map and street views. I can't remember ever seeing Champion Motors,
but it's around the corner from 412 and 71, heading east. I've only gone out that way a few times. Thanks.
