I think the audience that watches the show needs to see some shit like that.
They are doing a really good job with this. BRAVO to Shannon, her family and A&E for putting this on the air.
Plus with the health care debate going on it really highlights how the rich can get things done and the poor, well tough shit for us right?

Painful and embarrassing. You are awake the whole time. Nice to have a caring doctor and nurse. And then you are scared to death as to what they will find when the sample is sent to the pathologist.

I like that their kids seem to be pretty normal and grounded, unlike some other kids on these "reality" shows.
