‘Survivor’ producer detained in wife’s death

MEXICO CITY - The wife of "Survivor" producer Bruce Beresford-Redman has been found dead in Cancun, and he has been detained as a suspect.

The body of Monica Beresford-Redman, 42, was reportedly found in a sewer at the swanky Hotel Moon Palace where she was staying with her husband and two children.

Francisco Alor, a state prosecutor for the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, told Mexican newspaper Reforma that Bruce Beresford-Redman is currently under investigation in the case. “The husband seems to be responsible,” he said.
