Dame Elizabeth Taylor may soon be walking down the aisle ... for the ninth time. A source close to the Oscar-winning actress, 78, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Taylor recently got engaged to Jason Winters, 49, of Sterling Winters Management.

The insinuation appears to be that "Jason and Erik" are friends/partners who "have a house" (together). As for the reasons for the marriage:

1) That Ms TAYLOR is plotting a humongous career come-back, hoping for the remake of Sunset Boulevard, plus the Joan CRAWFORD role in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.

2) To that end, that she has weaned herself off of pain medications that had given rise to rumors that she was sinking into dementia and was speech-slurred. And she is going on-stage with James Earl JONES for a one time performance to raise $500K for AIDS charity.

3) And to crank up the publicity machine, she has been engaging in stunts: Swimming in a shark tank; wearing rapper clothes and bling.
