The Stuart House Recordings: The Next Blair Witch?
Edited on Tue May-04-10 10:46 AM by web978
This movie has been filtering out over the internet in bits and pieces.
The film is set up like a documentary of a 2009 paranormal investigation team of a haunted house, the team slowly finds themselves in over their heads as they realize they are dealing with something far worse.
What is cool is the filmmakers are building a huge mythology around it with "uncovered" footage of a lost 1975 investigation and all the supporting characters seem to be real. I also noticed the movie has Lovecraftian horror overtones. There are multiple linked websites and more are opening all the time. I also found out they are designing this as a trilogy from the get go.

Moreover, the filmmakers are completely independent, not doing this through any studio.

in the movie (in the 1975 footage) is one of the real-life debunkers of the Amityville Horror.

If fact everyone they have in the movie seems to be real.

4. Stuart House: Most Haunted House in United States?

Stuart House. Most haunted and at the same time most unknown. Site of the Dr Stephen Kaplan investigation in the 1970s, it is also one of the few documented deaths related to a paranormal investigation. Dr Kaplan is famous for debunking the Amityville Horror.

Built in the 1960s, a large suburban ranch. It looks anything but haunted. We do know that A Dr. Johnathan Stuart built the place with a medical clinic inside it to perform weekend abortions.

We also know he had a housekeeper Miyuki Isakawa who had fled from Japan to hide with Dr. Stuart. It is thought she came there to continue her occult studies.

Multiple disappearances have occurred on or near the house.
