Is Anybody Here At DU Watching NBC's Persons Unknown?.......
I came across it by accident on Comcast's On Demand and now I'm hooked. I really haven't heard much about it or for that matter anyone talking about watching it. It is very compelling and kind of a cross between "Lost" and the old TV series "Prisoner". I'm curious what other people think about this program?

1. Haven't. But it's also on HULU.
I hated the Prisoner.

Here's a link to something which you may find interesting:

but I have to say I think the LA Times nailed it after the first show:

"The new NBC series' efforts to mix elements of 'Lost,' 'The Prisoner' and the 'Saw' franchise into a satisfyingly mysterious whole is thrown off by stilted writing and mediocre acting."

but I had been watching this series too. Last night's ending left me totally confused, however.

What was the purpose of the whole program anyway? Just to prove they could get people to turn against one another? To what end? What was the board trying to achieve? Just regular old boring world domination stuff like comic book villians?

I know the writer of the program did an interview at the start of the series and promised since it was a mini series all the questions would be resolved. He promised the viewer that it wouldn't leave you just scratching your head like Lost. I can't say IMHO he lived up to that promise.

And poor Kat to be locked in that cage like that. Very dissappointing ending. Sorry I watched it now.
