Simkins wrote that he was delivering a Camel cigarette package filled with cocaine and Ecstasy to Hilton at the request of Francis:

"I took out the Camel box and handed it to her, and she thanked me. We talked for a minute or two about the apparent difficulty of procuring those drugs in Europe. I asked if she was flying private, and she said, 'No, commercial.' And then as politely as I could, I asked her how she planned on traveling with that amount of blow and X.

"She held the box in her right hand, and then with an underhand swoop like a lower case J, she demonstrated exactly how she intended to beat airport security. She even whistled as she did it."

He then describes how she placed the box between her legs and into her body.

The Reagan administration heavily supported the Nicaraguan contra rebels despite evidence that the contras were trafficking cocaine. And American drug dealers AND THE US CONGRESS via humanitarian funding helped support the contras too. Sens. John Kerry and Chris Dodd exposed the Congressional funding of the drug dealers whose politics Reagan supported.

As for Paris Hilton, given her immense wealth and ability to hire a really strong defence chances are she'll got off the hook or a really light sentence. Also Hilton's case reminds me of the 1985 US Supreme Court case US v. Montoya de Hernandez that reversed an appeal court's ruling that Montoya's 4th amendment rights were violated. Montoya was found to have stuffed up her intestines balloons filled with cocaine.
