This guy on "Skating With The Stars"!!! Its like listening to George or Paul.
My SO has it on in the next room and every time I pass I am gobsmacked by the Liverpudlian accent. Its not like John or Ringo. Its like George and Paul only not so mumbled. It's the vowels that strike me. "Muuther". "Joudges". I'm half expecting him to say "grotty" any second now.

2. I can see that however it really sounds east England to me.
I just asked my SO if she understood him. She said "not really". I said I could because I have seen every Beatles film (and can quote scenes by heart) and heard their interviews since they touched these shores. I am sooooo used to that accent that I understand it.
