Kazuki Tomokawa sings about the loss of a child.
This "video" is taken straight from the movie, Izo, one of my all time favorites. Izo contains several scenes which just consist of this guy singing. The translation may be a little off, I did not transcribe it from the subtitles, I lifted them from youtube.

A new spring will come,

they say.

but for me it is bitter.

what's this new spring for?

my child will not come back.

in that moment you stood truly

amidst the light of this world.

you stood there and you only stared,

amidst the light of this world.

amidst the light of this world.

Only the deer,

that i showed you in the end,

you silently stared at.

did their antlers fascinate you?

did their antlers fascinate you?

in that moment you stood truly

amidst the light of this world.

you stood there and you only stared,

amidst the light of this world.

A new spring will come,

they say

but for me it is bitter.

what's this new spring for?

my child will not come back

it was in may of this year

on my arms i carried you to the zoo

i showed you elephants,

you where whining.

i showed you birds,

you where whining.
