Sukiyaki Western Django

Watching it right now.

Very, very weird. It's a Western. Kind of. Except it's an Eastern. But with an Old West town. In Japan. With Japanese actors and characters. Except they're Old West characters, too. Who speak with thick Japanese accents. And also with kind of a movie western drawl. Very, very weird.

I think the actors don't really speak English, but are reciting their lines phonetically.

Takashi Miike is a strange man.

I'm only about halfway through. I just had to stop by and recommend this flick.

1. Notice how the gangs are White versus Red? I think this is supposed to be

cowboys versus Natives.

Even though the lines are in English, I watch this movie with the subtitles on.

I have purchased a bunch of his movies, and I plan on getting more.

2. I've seen the last half hour of it a couple of times.

Very entertaining, strange, different but enjoyable.
