1. Ugh...
I agree!

This is the worst thing I've heard of since I heard some loon wanted to redo The Best Years of Our Lives...

3. But with the present and future looking so fucked up, the past is all Hollywood has left to ruin.

4. "Arthur" remake, even "Upstairs Downstairs" on PBS is an update. Not
too many originals out there. "The Three Stooges" should be left alone. If they decide to do an update on "The Thin Man" series I will be very upset...

7. They've been working on "The Thin Man" remake
Johnny Depp is Nick Charles. Jerry Stahl is the writer.

9. I think Marion Cotillard would make a good Nora
I don't envy either actor that will try to fill Nick and Nora's shoes.

13. I wonder though.....
In the original book, Asta was a schnauzer. They changed him to a fox terrier for the movie. Will they get all book anal about this or stay with what has become an iconic movie look?

6. Worse they're trying to do their own version of the
Millennium Trilogy. They wait until something is a hit across the pond and then remake it and Americanize it.
