we watched the whole thing again a couple of weeks ago. My daughter hadn't seen it. Surprisingly, she loved it.

22. About Boardwalk Empire's music: Gershwin Piano Rolls

There's a scene where two guys are shooting pool and they are playing Gershwin piano music in the background.

I recognized it instantly. It was George Gershwin himself playing The Piano Rolls. Excellent stuff.

19. No withdrawals for me. I just watched Ep. 4 (I think*) last night.

I had the whole 1st season racked up on the DVR, waiting for my brother to have some time to sit down and watch it with me. We finally got around to it in the last week or so.

*I think it was Episode 4. It's the one with Nucky's surprise birthday party.

I recently saw a half-hour preview on PBS for the new, upcoming docu "Prohibition" by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. It's due out this Fall, and looks to be interesting, esp for those who liked "Boardwalk Empire."
