1. It was slow, but it wasn't bad. Who stops watching a movie after an hour?

9. I do if i can't take it anymore like it's boring. usually wouldn't go that long
though unless i was really trying to make it work out. it got four solid stars and i want it to be a good movie, that sort of thing.

3. It didn't get better.

SPOILER!!!

It was a single concept played to the nth degree.

Maybe if they'd been doing this for something that actually...MATTERED? One multi-national company out-douching another multi-national company.

That was the concept....really.

Not preventing global destruction...we were supposed to really CARE whether this pasty white, rich boy connected with his father and sold his company or not so other people could get richer...really?

Oh and some guy at the very end gets to dream that the coin doesn't fall and he didn't abandon his kids to be raised by Alfie.

I couldn't have given a farts worth for this plot. And the graphic part was soporific.

7. It seemed contrived.
Like they said, "We've got all these cool special computer effects, let's come up with a movie to use them in!" Basing it on dreams gave them an excuse to present all sorts of fancy, outlandish scenarios. I like it better when the effects serve the story, not the other way round.

25. Saw it once in the theatre, and thought maybe the problem was that I am too dense.
Gave it another try on the teevee and decided it was the movie that was stupid.

13. My 17 year old daughter had a dozen friends over last night to watch The Blair Witch Project.
I have no idea if it was a good movie or not but I have never heard Fuck so much in such a short time.

But they cleaned up after themselves and were all gone by midnight. She has good friends.

15. LOL!
Oh man, that movie totally sucked me in when it first came out. I was totally bored halfway through (and kind of nauseated by the movement of the camera). I didn't realize I was into it until it started to get tense, and when IT happened, I nearly pissed myself.

I'm sure I spewed a lot of profanity, too. ;)

Blair Witch Project was BOOORING if you've seen hitchcock movies.

Both are fun if you like to be scared.

18. Kinda like "Dreamscape" with better special effects

I didn't like that each different level of dreaming had a different rate at which time flowed.

It was an OK movie and the effects were good but IMO that is about it.

27. One of the best movies ever, IMHO.
The only people who didn't like it are the people that didn't "get" it.

Based on my experience anyway.

29. It was slow, but I thought it was an awesome flick.
I also rented it and watched at home. Not sure I would have liked it as much in theaters.

The effects were way cool, but the idea of diddling around in people's dreams was the part that sold me on it.

The corporate stuff, yeah it's cliche, but didn't pay much attention to that angle.

30. Tied for bottom place with "End of Days"
I like movies that are surreal and that break the boundaries of linear storytelling, but Inception just didn't do it for me.

I didn't care about Leonardo's character (or anyone else for that matter), and I thought most of the "dreams" were derivative. For example, I think one of the dreams was ripped off from Goldeneye.

My dreams are much more interesting than that movie.
