According to an announcement on GeorgeHarrison.com this morning (July 14), 'George Harrison: Living in the Material World' -- which Spinner previously reported will trace the late Beatle's life using rare photographs, video footage and even "unreleased Beatles footage," and is complemented with a coffee table book by Harrison's widow Olivia -- will air on HBO in North America over two nights (Oct. 5-6), with a British DVD release date of Oct. 10.

1. That should be great.
I must confess I don't know much about his life story.

2. Lately, I have begun to think that George wrote the best of the Beatles songs.
"I Need You"

"Within You Without You"

"Blue Jay Way"

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps"

"Something"

"I Me Mine"

"For You Blue"

"All Things Must Pass,*

"The Inner Light"

"Here Comes the Sun"
